I've tryed the Axis files and the files in the trunk...the results are 
identical.

Here's the result of the flashing with 8mb images (I've changed the image 
size inside the makefile):

REMEMBER....the flash procedure leaves the board untouched...

Currently I'm using and old port of John Crispin, the porting is now  called 
"CrisOS" and you can find it at www.crisos.org.
It works, but it's rather old....and I wanna use the official trunk of 
kamikaze.
I hope you can find the problem :)
If you wanna, I can send you the 2 images (zip/rar),just let me know a valid
