Hi! The Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (http://www.pathname.com/fhs/) suggests to mount removable devices under the directory /media and leave /mnt for a temporary mounted filesystem.
I know removable devices were mounted under /mnt before these patches, but I think it would be a good idea to move to the right mount point, if the mount mechanism for removable media is changed anyway.
