I found some documentation on how to create ifb devices using ip (I have
iproute installed on my router with backfire on it) but that didn't
work. (It doesn't work my Fedora machines.)

I am guessing that means the kernel isn't built with ifb support?

So I am thinking I need to read up on how to make custom kernel module
packages for wrt? (As there currently doesn't appear to be one in the
package system for ifb support.)
