You either suffer throughput, or turn up the beacon interval to something that still works but doesn't blow as much combined bandwidth over time. Default is usually 100ms so you're sending an AP beacon frame for each SSID ten times a second. You could turn it up to something more like 500ms but then broadcast traffic suffers (as it is jammed into the beacons).
