I have a GStreamer-based application that I maintain on OpenWrt. The recent OpenWrt GStreamer packages have been giving me trouble. I have been getting the following error message:
GStreamer-WARNING **: External plugin loader failed. This most likely means that the plugin loader helper binary was not found or could not be run. Manually installing gst-plugin-scanner from the gstreamer build at /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10 fixes the problem. I build a very minimal GStreamer with only a few plugins. I think that if any plugins are installed, then gst-plugin-scanner should also be installed. Does anyone have an opinion on this? If we agree that this is a bug, then I could submit a fix to Trac. -- Mike :wq _______________________________________________ openwrt-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-devel
