I am experiencing a blocking problem with git repo: on a cloned version of Backfire 10.03 I done some works creating a local git repo on my development computer. Then I pushed the git on my remote test server. Later with a git-clone I set the repo locally on another development computer. Ifound all I had done, branches, history, tags etc but as I tried (immediately after git-clone) "make menuconfig" make starts generating an error in compilation of /scripts/config (conf.c source and others)
After a lot of tries and tests using different computers (linux Ubuntu 10.04, Macx and Debian as remote server)I discovered the following: The only way I can have the git working again on a development computer different from where Istarted from the scratch Backfire is substituting the repo /scripts/config directory with a one created locally from a Backfire scratch After this operatoin everything works fine. I have no idea - and found no documentation about - of what I must do after the git-clone to avoid this problem. It can be a "solution"for my personal development lifecycle, but it's absolutely unuseful in the need to share the git repo with a team. Thank you. -------------------------------------------------------------- Ovi Mail: Making email access easy http://mail.ovi.com
