Hi all,
I am new to openwrt. I am working on a project that involves modifying a
hostapd and testing it on DIR-825 (h/w B1, s/w 2.02WW) with openwrt. I have
completed my modification of hostapd and tested it on the laptops.
After this, I started building openwrt (source: latest backfire release with
original hostapd) based on the info provided
on http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/build. I have successfully built the image
(openwrt-ar71xx-dir-825-b1-squashfs-factory.bin),  but when I upload it to the
router using firmware recovery method, something is going wrong as the
router doesn't boot-up (instead of orange blinking light, orange light with no
blinking) and after that I cannot telnet the router.
But if I directly use the image file from the release
(http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/), it works fine.
Can someone help me with what could be going wrong here when I build the image.
Thanks alotshashi
