Ok, odd that (a) David shipped files with DOS newline termination, and (b) that 
they can patch on my system but not yours.

Redoing.  Do we really need 2.6.30-2.6.32? There's a lot of stuff that got 
aggressively rewritten in 2.6.33 and later.

I'm thinking that retiring these version would be good.  I'll see about doing a 
3.0 patch...
