out of memory doesnt satisfy me.
And? I'm telling you what the error is at this level; I'm
the only one who's reported this; I've not claimed the
resolution is satisfactory.
You are free to dig further and find the underlying cause,
which is probably kernel related. I'd for one would be grateful.
My machine too has significant free memory, but I suspect
the memory relates to some kernel memory issues, rather
than megabytes of free user space memory.
