Hi Antonio, All devices share the same radio/processing board. Only extension boards (shields) are different (USB, THAP). Life time is not great at the moment, with full duty cycle from 2 AAA accumulators (750mAh) a node working as a server lives 24 hours.
I would expect that for real-world scenario (node wakes up every minute or so, measures and sends data) and/or reduced radio duty cycle, the lifetime will be extended to months on the same HW. Each sensor node (THAP and others) will have an on/off switch and USB for power supply, so can be used completely wireless or with external power source.
