Specifically working on Airrouter - they have done something to them so
they (1) won't run OpenWRT and (2) won't run their own AirOS earlier
than 5.5. Looking at the Ubnt.com forum, it appears this is a general
issue across all the "M" products.
Trying to upgrade from the AirOS GUI leads to a "Bad firmware image"
error; using tftp method leads to a router that doesn't pass any traffic
from any port.
This appears similar to the issue I saw in January of this year on the
PicoStation 2HP. The regdomain byte had been changed to something
nonsensical, disabling the radio.
Have not attached the serial monitor yet - hoping someone else has seen
this.
