Hi all, I am trying to add a new device for my M.Sc. Thesis. The device has BCM4717 on it. I got toolchain from Broadcom's Web-Site but I don't know how to use it. The information I could gathered from the device is as follows; Linux version 2.6.22 CPU revision is: 00019740 CPU: BCM4716 rev 1 at 354 MHz. If I need to gather more information please tell me I can try to gather. In the device, it says it has the CPU BCM4716 but I think the difference between 4717 and 4716 is 4717 supports 5GHz but 4716 not. Please tell me what to do.
As another issue, I tried to compile binary file for LinkSys E3200. I have chosen Broadcom BCM947xx/953xx as Target System but it didn't compile however I am using trunk version, should I choose something different as Target System or should I do something else? Thank you in advance; Erdem ULUSOY
