Hello guys,
I would like to reflect protocol specific states in the network.interface ubus objects. (eg for ppp it could be "connecting, authenticating, connected, disconnecting"). I observed per interface object a field called "data" and a rpc method to update this field. I'm wondering if this field can be used to store protocol specific information, in this case populated by the ppp scripts.
