This should then probably be made an optional (IOW, default-disabled)
setting (possibly with an appropriate comment mentioning the consequences)
- you easily wouldn't want to have the extra load of enforced flash writes
of the flash blocks that contain these files.
OK, well, round robin, but...

(admittedly once every 5 minutes ought to be low enough,
but certain people might want to keep down flash wear as much as possible).
