No. This patch was redundant and shouldn't have been merged. 1.0.55 is identical to 1.0.55~bpo70+1, with the exception of any changes needed to make the package build on Debian stable. The '~bpo70+1' suffix indicates the first backport of 1.0.55 to Debian 7.0. See [1] for more information.
