Hi,
i have been playing with the TD8970 the last few days and tried to
bring it online on a deutsche telekom adsl annex-b line. unfortunately
i have totally failed so far. i managed to get the unit into showtime
on my dslam using vdsl however. i also talked to people that have the
driver/firmware running on British Telecom, KPN, 1&1 as vdsl and adsl.
for the adsl driver we have a nice list of all the various xtu bits.
for the vdsl driver they seem to be different.
there are also 2 new options
-M 0_1_2 the modes it should try
0 - none ?!
1 - adsl
2 - vdsl
i understand this as it will loop over the provided sequence and try
to get show time using it.
-T 4_0_1 - the tc layer to use
-i10_00_10_00_00_04_01_07 -T4_0_1 is confirmed working on the 1&1 line
-i10_00_10_00_00_04_01_07 works on my vdsl dslam
-i10_00_10_00_00_04_00_00 is set by the td8970 firmware for annex-b
-i05_00_04_00_0C_01_00_00 is set by the td8970 firmware for annex-a
has any one managed to get this working on deutsche telekom adsl lines ?
does anyone know how to force adsl or vdsl ? i tried -M1 and -M2 but i
got no showtime.
could those people that managed to get the driver to work post the
config they used ?
does anyone have access to the docs for the driver so that we can
extract a full list and make a sane uci config for this stuff ?
