The config symbol went away with commit 1bdcc63112a0 ("UBIFS: remove
xattr Kconnfig option") in v3.5, so that seems likely...
But I wonder why the ubifs-symlink-xattr-support patch isn't in
mainline? Googling I found only this RFC series, but nothing more:
http://lwn.net/Articles/537721/ . Does anyone know why it never went
further?
