Not strictly related to your patch, but I hope you know the answer and
that will spare me some hour(s) of digging and experimenting.

According to the results of tracing the connections on HAME MPR-A1[1] this
second block of GPIOs is actually useful for modders. Why is it disabled
by default? Have you tried enabling and testing it?
