just noticed target/imagebuilder/Config.in:

depends on !TARGET_ROOTFS_INITRAMFS
depends on !PROFILE_KCONFIG
depends on !EXTERNAL_TOOLCHAIN
why should building an image builder depend on
!TARGET_ROOTFS_INITRAMFS? as i read it, under "Target Images", i can
select a variety of target image types. so why should selecting
"ramdisk" suddenly mean i can't create an image builder?
