if you look at line 6 and 22 of the patch you will see that the leading
space is missing. how did you generate these patches ?

Ehm. This particular patch has a long history, I can't remember anymore.
And in fact this v4-cc-1 is the only one that's bad.

For the more recent patches I used quilt.
