You get the error, because you are building from the abandoned DD sources in
git.openwrt.org that have not been updated since June.
"target-mips_34kc_musl-1.1.14" tells that rather clearly, are currently musl
in use is 1.15
The problem has been fixed in the current Openwrt sources at Github.
