The executive lied. That's the Ubiquiti market strategy. They tell lies until they are pushed into a corner. Then they become silent. Until the next person starts asking. Then the same lies are repeated. This story can obviously be repeated again and again. You should google before repeating such nonsense in public. Notice the date of that document? The FCC has clarified their position multiple times since then, and even published updated revisions of those requirements.
