I've added a trivial patch to allow compilation with libtool 2.4, currently used in 21.02. I have not used a separate commit for that, to not introduce a commit that does not build. Let me know if I should rather split this.
I'm cherry-picking a commit to allow compilation with gcc 10, to keep it in sync with master. While not the default, building with gcc 10 is an option for 21.02.
