I raised these (admittedly imprecise) points to see whether we are approaching 
any thresholds that would eliminate support for a large number of devices (like 
the transition away from 4/32 devices). If no threshold is looming, that's 
great.

If there were, I am voicing my support for moving to 6.6 now so that dev's 
don't have to do much the same work twice in the next 1-2 years.
