 hi nbd,

 since you wanted me to try the latest version i tested if my issue has
 something to do with the dhcp-server in my network. This was done by a
 (Non-OpenWrt) Linksys Router and all worked fine, wan-routing and DHCP for
 all other devices in my network. perhaps a proffessional is able to read
 and interpret tcpdumps, but i am not really.
 The fact is, that i replaced this Linksys device with another WNDR3800 and
 set it up as PPPoE Router with DHCP and .... all worked fine.
 First, i'm happy that my problem is gone, but i did not know why only the
 Android Phones did not work with that device.

 I thank you very much for your (little) help and excuse me for this
 unneccessary openWrt ticket: The only devices in my Network running stable
 and correct are the Linux and OpenWrt devices. i love it :-)
