 Has any progress been made on this?  I think I am experiencing a similar
 problem with my RT5350 in a new device  It could be that something else is
 wrong, since I am porting it.

 I can configure a wireless device in luCi, however, the network doesn't
 show up.  This new device has a very different switch configuration, but I
 do have ethernet working.  With this bug, does the wifi network at least
 show up, even if it cannot connect?

 P.S. Ethernet only works after modifying the switch configuration for me.
