I reckon you should still have the password field as well in case
updatekey is not set, see

Besides that, this is a bug/missing feature in LuCI and not OpenWrt
itself, see [http://luci.subsignal.org/] to learn how to submit patches
there, supposedly the best way is to post to the
[https://lists.subsignal.org/mailman/listinfo/luci LuCI mailing list].
