the error is due to the commit @r41412
you can put "PKG_CHECK_FORMAT_SECURITY:=0" in the makefile as a temporary
fix (see @r41411)
your main concern here is that this package is in oldpackages feed, so
it'll soon stop to be built by the buildbot.
You should step up and take maintainership of this package, and send a PR
here (new packages feed)
