Hi FurryFur and thank you for helping me learn this!
It was so much easier now that I know how to use quilt. :)
I tried to send the patch to nbd and the mailing lists, eventuality the
mailing lists rejected it as I had not registered, but hopefully nbd will
receive and apply the patch.
I corrected the issue you mentioned. The link from my previous message now
points to a corrected version of the patch.
