#17117: Image Builder fails with "recipe for target '_call_image' failed"

I downloaded the Image Builder from:
http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/OpenWrt-ImageBuilder-
ar71xx_generic-for-linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
uncompressed it and tried to run: make image PROFILE=TLWR841
Whatever the chosen profile is, it will always terminate abruptly with
error:
Makefile:98: recipe for target '_call_image' failed
make[1]: *** [_call_image] Error 126
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/wist/openwrt/OpenWrt-ImageBuilder-
ar71xx_generic-for-linux-x86_64'
Makefile:168: recipe for target 'image' failed
make: *** [image] Error 2
I tried on a Debian machine and also on a Arch Linux, fresh installed and
updated.
