A basic knocking test now toot look at the layer 3 reach ability if I were
now able to ping192 168 0 100 this [350-080] would mean that my basic
layer 3configuration is cracked like the IP address thing and that there's
nothing wrong you know where one or layer 2 but based on the fact that I
cannot pingthe the windows house who is supposed to be in the same network
means now I need to look at some other more details at either layer to
configuration or layer 1 like the physical cabling so the next thing I may
want to know is what is the physical topology look like so how is rather
four actually connected to this network and I could either reference my
physical diagram which means that someone would have had to put this
together to begin with physical documentation or I could look at what I'll
put on rubber for I'm trying to figure out how was it physically connected
to the rest to the network at layer one in layer 2 I can look at the show
the CDP neighbors and this is assuming that the 350-080 switches I'm
connected to our Cisco switches because otherwise the other vendors don’t
have this surrender for says I'm connected to switch to you the interface
I'm using is fast ethernet0 slow 0 the interface they're using is faster
than 80 slash 4 this means if I were to go to switch to you and look at
the show Ronnie interface better than 80 slash for I would want to make
sure that this is 350-080 assigned to be than one .
