Yesterday, I updated some of my WNDR4300 (AR9340 2,4 GHz, AR9580 5 GHz)
from r40695 to r41835.
I'm excited to report that I have not been able to reproduce the hung tx
queues (Failed to stop TX DMA...) anymore, however, now the kernel logs nf
load timeouts every few hours.

These seem to be non critical, I'll continue testing and collecting user
feedback.
