I have a Belkin N10117 passive 4-port USB 2.0 hub that I've been trying to
use with a thumb drive and a PL2303-based USB-RS232 serial adapter. The
thumb drive works fine, but the serial adapter won't hardly any characters
(but can send characters to other computers). When I get rid of the hub
and plug the adapter directly into my device (D-Link DIR-505LA1 with
14.07rc3), it works perfectly.
