VDSL look good.
Does your provider uses really pppoatm for VDSL? Most providers have
different settings for ADSL and VDSL. Maybe you need also to use VLAN on
top of vdsl.
random guess: try vlanid 35 (ifname=ptm.35) with pppoe or pppoa
