Oh, I have ar71xx too, but wndr3800, and also tested ag300h (during my wan
port issues).
So, maybe if you get exactly the same settings for TX power, channel,
channel width- and also check at the client (laptop, phone)... then you
can see if its real or the newer drivers are just underreporting.
