#17811: mdns doesn't actually do anything

In BB-rc3 mdns has zero effect - it does not detect any mDNS/Bonjour
(which other stations on the network, or avahi-daemon on the router do),
nor does it seem to emit mDNS/Bonjour packets. In short all it does it
take up memory and return the empty set to any query.
