I think I got it working for the moment. Please don't ask me questions cuz
I dont know what i'm doing yet (absolute beginner/novice). Just trying to
get the cli to boot to where i can explore.

 I have a Raspberry Pi B+ 512mb (Broadcom 2835 i believe).

I'm using Win8.1x64 to make these cards at the moment.

I formatted the card with the formatter from here...
 https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

I used the openwrt barrier breaker rc3 image from here...
 http://downloads.openwrt.org/barrier_breaker/14.07-rc3/brcm2708/generic
 /openwrt-brcm2708-sdcard-vfat-ext4.img

I flashed that image to the card with this...

http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/files/latest/download?source=files

Once flashed, I used the bootcode.bin and start.elf from here...
 https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/tree/master/boot

and replaced the existing bootcode.bin and start.elf files on the card
with the files found in the link above.

If you're looking for a gui, LuCi does seem to be installed already, if
not, install it with these commands found here...
 http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/luci.essentials

Good luck. Hopefully we get a stable release for the newer Pi's soon.
