Seems that even in the mainline linux kernel the driver seems to work - at
least produces wireless device file and does some networking - anyone who
tries to use the driver for anything substantial will discover that it
really doesn't work. As of just recently there have been some positive
bug fixes for this driver in the 3.16.x kernel series.
