What kernel version and Driver version did you use?
It has the same problem (kernel panic) with Attitude Adjustment and
Realtek driver version v3.4.3, tried with multiple options (also cfg80211
enabled, then it crashed on {{{iw wlan1 scan}}}).
Patches from the HeaterMeter project won't solve the problem.
Maybe it works on newer versions...
