#18210: WRT600N v1.1 (WRT600NV11) dual radio unstable
-------------------------------------------------+-------------------------
Reporter: anonymous | Owner: developers
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone:
Component: base system | Version: Barrier
Keywords: WRT600N WRT600NV11 dual radio | Breaker 14.07
unstable broadcom-wl BCM4329 BCM432a |
-------------------------------------------------+-------------------------
Version: BARRIER BREAKER 14.07 final
Wireless driver: broadcom-wl proprietary
When both 2.4GHz and 5GHz are turned on (11n mixed mode), the system
becomes unstable after a few days, usually wireless clients cannot connect
while wired clients still work, sometimes router becomes unresponsive,
that even wired clients can't get an IP and ping to router times out using
static IP, sometimes the router just reboots itself.
There is also a problem with nas (Network Authentication Service), dual
radio uses two instances, `killall nas` only kills one instance, the
remaining one can only be killed with -9 (SIGKILL).
Is there a newer driver that can fix this?
Using single radio (either 2.4GHz or 5GHz) works fine.
