I was able to fail safe my E3000 by repeatedly pressing the front button
just after the end of the first set of power light blinks
Then telneted in after conecting with a static ip to LAN port 4 (as marked
on the case) and gave the firstboot comant to start fresh
I know its a old post but I hope this helps someone
