 I can confirm that automatic reconnecting of PPPoE is not reliable. My
 provider provides a wireless bridge that interrupts the LAN connection to
 my WRT160NL briefly every night. I must reactivate the PPPoE connection
 manually (e.g. by clicking Connect in LuCI) afterwards, which is really
 annoying.
