as jow pointed out on irc, this is most likely a compiler bug... i (not
the op) kind of solved the issue for me by using gcc-4.9, again
(first i had no luck with it at all, kernel was oopsing all the time
[unaligned access errors], and i still don't know what did the trick...
using the latest linaro snapshot or using glibc nstead of uclibc)
