 I have 2 pieces of TP-LINK WDR3600, one v1.4 and other v1.5. I used to use
Attitude Adjustment prior to the revision 39408
 [https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/39408/] that was supposedly improve
 WiFi.
Since then WiFi performance droped around 50%. All newer builds: barrier
breaker and trunk ones have this patch implemented and for me all of them
have WiFi throughoutput issues. I investigated and compiled both attitude
adjustment and barier breaker in latest (as of 31.01.2015) revisions but
without the change in the "mach-tl-wdr4300.c" file and the speeds are now
again as they were previously to the r39408.
The RSSI also improves from -40db to -37db.
OpenWRT report lower quality of signgal but the noise level improves
 sagnificantly.
For the Barrier Breaker the changeset with patch is
 [https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/39392]

The issue was examined multiple times on various branches and revisions.
I provide a picture from speedtest.net and LuCi demonstratin the situation
 on BarrierBreaker.

If this patch indeed improves WiFi in some WDR3600/WDR4300 version unlike
in my case then I believe that an alternative binary without the patch
should be provided to resolve the throughtoutput issue as there clearly is
 one.
