- Add a log which shows the error / Which openssl functions are affected
(all ?) / openssl program shows errors too ?
- arm assembly is enabled in debian (bug #676533)
- compiler issues ? (check gcc 4.9 and/or other optimization beside -Os)
- Allwinner has separate crypto hw according to :

this is not included but v6 was posted on lkml in March 2015 see

this patch was tested and working on at least 3 other ARM hardware -
strange that it does not work
subtle differences between sunxi & other (working) platforms ?
