Hmm seems I had a different version of touch on my system. In any case
r45410 should do the trick.
Your patch is very unclean and I do not like to create a directory -
especially with that name - just for the timestamp so I took a different
route but it should hopefully work as well or even better. Let me know if
it works for you.
