#19693: how to change mtd partition size

I am using AR9341 Soc and chaos calmer latest version. the board is TP-
LINK TL-WR841N-v8.
the kernel lzma uimage size doesnt reduce below 1.1MB.
my MTD partitions are as follows:
mtdparts=ath-nor0:256k(u-boot),64k(u-boot-
env),1024k(uImage),6144k(rootfs),576k(config))
my rootfs size is 3.8M
