Actually the same things as we discussed for netifd, related to #17625.
Since I'm not that familiar with the netifd code, no one had the time to
fix things through netifd yet and CC is in its release-candidate cycle, I
wanted to go with the quicker and easier approach for now (until someone
finds the time to do it in netifd): Configuring bridge ports the same was
as batman-adv is configured for instance, through hotplug scripts.
Also it might be useful to be able to trigger things in general once a
bridge port got added and up, wouldn't it? For instance sending Wake-On-
LAN packets once a port is available, triggering (custom?)
solicitation/advertisement messages etc. in specific setups.
Is there a reason for not having ifup events for member interfaces?
