I don't see a particularly good reason to include them either. To me it
would rather make sense to get rid of some certifications that are already
in the list however I'm not sure if there is a particularly good way to do
it. I guess if you are looking for a more open model of getting
certificates you should go to: https://letsencrypt.org/ they should start
operating soon and imo stand on much better grounds.
