Works fine for me out of the box. CC 15.05 rc3 on Archer C7 v2. I get
1000/Full to a PC and 100/Full to a raspberry pi (the max it can do).
No special settings, no need to force speeds.
Usually, forcing the speed/duplex is the wrong thing to do and is papering
over
some other problem.
Check your cabling?
